Streamforge Inc. and its affiliated companies (“Streamforge”, “we,” or “us”) are committed to respecting your privacy in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This privacy policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared. We may change this privacy policy from time to time, in its sole discretion. By using or visiting any Streamforge website, application, product, software, tool, data feed, and/or service (collectively the “Service”), you understand and agree to the terms of this privacy policy.


1. Personal Data We Collect


In this privacy policy, “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We may collect and process Personal Data about you in the ways outlined below. Where applicable, we indicate whether and why you must provide Personal Data, and the consequences of failing to do so. If you choose not to provide requested Personal Data, you may not be able to benefit from certain aspects of our services if that information is necessary to provide them or if we are legally required to collect it.


Information Provided by You


  • Access to Service: If you use the Service to find, analyze, and track content creators (“Creators”) for your campaigns, we will ask for Personal Data including your name, contact details (e.g., email address), and the company you work for. We may also request billing information, such as your payment card details and billing address to manage your subscription. In addition, you will create a username and password to access the Service.
  • Content Creators: If you are a Creator, or you are a representative of a Creator, and you are invited by an organization to be paid via the Service, we will collect Personal Data such as your name, address, and banking information (SWIFT, IBAN, tax ID).
  • Communications: If you contact us via a contact form, email, or other means, you may provide Personal Data like your name, email address, and information about the company you work for.
  • Job Application: If you apply for a job at Streamforge, you may provide Personal Data such as your educational and professional experience, resumes/CVs, salary preferences, interests, accomplishments, and references.


Information Collected via Automated Means


  • Publicly Available Information: We collect information about Creators and their audiences from publicly available sources. This may include Personal Data that the Creator or their audience has posted publicly, such as names, contact details (e.g., email address), location, bios, interests, photos, videos, and other publicly accessible content.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies (collectively “cookies”) to ensure our website and Service function properly, understand how they are used, improve our products, and assist with marketing campaigns.


2. How We Use Personal Data


Except as disclosed in this privacy policy, we do not share your personal information with any outside parties. We will use the personally identifiable information directly provided by you solely for the purpose for which you have provided it, which may include:


  • • to operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • • to manage your account, including to communicate with you regarding your account
  • • to operate and administer any proposals, events, or promotions you participate in on any site or application;
  • • to respond to your comments and questions, and to provide customer service;
  • • to send information including technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
  • • with your consent, to send you marketing emails about new proposals, opportunities, upcoming events, and other news, including information about products and services offered by us and our affiliates. You may opt-out of receiving such information at any time: such marketing emails tell you how to “opt-out”. Please note, even if you opt out of receiving marketing emails, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your account with us (if you have one) and our business dealings with you;
  • • to process payments you make via the Service; and
  • • as we believe necessary or appropriate (a) to comply with applicable laws; (b) to comply with lawful requests and legal process, including to respond to requests from public and government authorities; (c) to enforce our privacy policy; and (d) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of you or others.


We may share this information with service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as processing information requests, displaying stored data you access, to assist us in marketing, to conduct audits, etc. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to provide the service they provide, will be required to maintain confidentiality of the information, and will be prohibited from using it for any other purpose.


We may also use information you provide to better serve you, and, if you have given your consent for us to do so, to send you email or text messages concerning offers from our partners and other third parties that we think may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive marketing emails, you may adjust the settings in your preferences. 


3. Data Retention and Erasure


We generally retain your personal information for as long as is necessary, and to comply with our legal obligations. In certain jurisdictions, you can request to have all your personal information deleted entirely. Please note that if you request the erasure of your personal information:


  • • We may retain some of your personal information as necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention and enhancing safety. For example, if we suspend an Account for fraud or safety reasons, we may retain certain information from that Account to prevent that user from opening a new Account in the future.
  • • We may retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. For example, for tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations.
  • • Information you have shared with others (e.g., reviews, forum postings) may continue to be publicly visible on or through the Service, even after your Account is cancelled. Additionally, some copies of your information (e.g., log records) may remain in our database, but are disassociated from personal identifiers.
  • • Withdrawing consent and restriction of processing.


If we are processing your personal information based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by changing your Account settings or by sending a communication to us specifying which consent you are withdrawing. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing activities based on such consent before its withdrawal. 


4. Your Rights in Relation to Your Personal Data


Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights, including:


  • Access and Portability: Request a copy of your Personal Data and information about its processing.
  • Rectification and Deletion: Request updates, corrections, anonymization, or deletion of your Personal Data.
  • Restriction and Objection: Request the restriction of processing or object to the processing of your Personal Data.
  • Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw previously given consent at any time.
  • Complaint: Lodge a complaint with a local data protection authority.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties before disclosing any information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


7. Children’s Privacy


The Terms of Service clearly provide that Users must be (i) at or above the age of majority in their jurisdiction, or (ii) 13 and older if either (a) an emancipated minor, or (b) he/she possess legal parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from users under 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected any personal information from a user under the age of 13, we will attempt to identify and delete that information from our database.


8. Changes to This Policy


We reserve the right to change the terms of this privacy policy at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of the privacy policy. If there are material changes to this statement or in how we will use your personal information, we will notify you by prominently posting a notice of such changes here or on our home page, or by sending you an email. We encourage you to review this privacy policy whenever you visit our website or application.
