Streamforge

About Streamforge

Built by creators who didn’t believe the numbers.

Streamforge began in 2018 as a 20,000-creator community. When the influencer platforms’ data didn’t match what we could see with our own eyes, we did the unreasonable thing: we built our own database. We’ve been obsessed with getting the numbers right ever since.

Our story

From server admins to the people behind the data.

The short version: nobody was selling numbers we could trust, so we started collecting our own. The long version is here, in order.

  1. 2018

It started as a Discord server.

Xavier and Nick were both content creators when they met. Together they built a Discord community that grew from zero to 20,000 gaming creators — and then something unexpected happened: brands started showing up, asking to work with them. What looked like a community turned out to be a business.

  2. The gap

Then we checked everyone else’s math.

Running the community meant living inside Twitch’s API every day. So when we compared what influencer marketing platforms were reporting against what the platform data actually said, the gap wasn’t subtle — the industry was running on stale, flawed numbers. We decided the only data we could trust was data we collected ourselves, and started building our own database.

  3. The agency years

We ran real campaigns on it for years.

Before Streamforge was a product, it was our unfair advantage: a tech-backed agency running creator campaigns for gaming publishers on data nobody else had. Twitch first, then YouTube, then Instagram and TikTok — with reporting built for both the brands paying and the creators delivering. Every claim our data made got tested against a real campaign.

  4. March 2023

    We opened it up.

Years of data pipelines and reporting tools became a platform anyone could log into.

  5. Today

The people behind the follower count, before you spend.

Brands, agencies, and gaming companies use Streamforge to see who’s really behind a follower count before they commit a dollar. The database covers 48M creators, and the methods behind the numbers are published on this site, limits included.

Founders

The two guys who started counting.

Xavier

Co-Founder & CEO

Before Streamforge, Xavier lived on the other side of the table — years inside large ad agencies, then running his own. It’s why agencies don’t have to explain their reality to us: retainers, pitches, reporting weeks. He’s been in those meetings.

Nick Lombardi

Co-Founder & CTO

A creator who ended up building the machine. Nick turned a Discord bot’s worth of Twitch data into the pipeline that now tracks creators across five platforms — and he still treats “how fresh is the data?” as a personal question.

Principles

Three things we refuse to compromise on.

  1. 01

    Data first. Always.

We’re a data company before we’re anything else. Refresh timing varies by source, platform, creator, and field — and we say which, because a number you can’t put a date on isn’t an insight, it’s a rumor.

  2. 02

    Creators are people, not inventory.

We were creators. We know what it’s like to be reduced to a follower count on someone’s spreadsheet. The best campaigns happen when both sides of the deal are taken seriously — our tools are built that way.

  3. 03

    Straight answers.

We’ll tell you up front if Streamforge can help — and if it can’t, we’ll say that too. Fifteen minutes with us is a conversation, not a funnel.

About Streamforge

Questions people ask about us

Who we are, where the data comes from, and how to reach a person — answered plainly.

When did Streamforge start?

In 2018, as a Discord community of gaming creators that grew to 20,000 members. The founders ran creator campaigns for gaming publishers on their own data for years before opening the platform to customers in March 2023.

Who founded Streamforge?

Two former content creators. Xavier, Co-Founder & CEO, spent years inside large ad agencies and then ran his own. Nick Lombardi, Co-Founder & CTO, built the data pipeline that now tracks creators across five platforms.

Is Streamforge an agency or a software company?

A software company. Streamforge is an influencer intelligence platform for creator discovery, audience analysis, competitive intelligence, campaign workflow, and data access by API, sold as three products: Workflow, Intelligence, and API. It began as an agency, which is where the data and the reporting were tested on real campaigns before either became a product.

Where does the data come from?

Streamforge collects its own data rather than reselling someone else’s. Creator analysis combines directly supported evidence from creator profiles, published content, and other public web sources with model-inferred qualitative details. Audience analysis is supported across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and X. The methods, and their limits, are published in full.

How current is the data?

Freshness depends on the source, platform, creator, and field. Streamforge does not treat every field as universally daily; the right interpretation depends on what was measured and when it was observed. The refresh method explains what that means field by field.

How do I reach a person?

Book fifteen minutes. We will tell you up front if Streamforge can help, and if it cannot, we will say that too. It is a conversation, not a funnel.
