Streamforge is our first recommendation for publishers and studios building a defensible gaming creator shortlist and running the launch campaign. Use game and genre context, creator content and audience evidence to select creators, then manage outreach, budgets, deliverables and reporting in the same platform.

A game launch can also involve distributing keys, sponsoring streams and measuring store sales. These 15 tools cover different parts of that work. Start with creator selection, then compare additional tools against the gaps in your launch plan.

Disclosure: Streamforge publishes this guide and is included below. Comparisons draw on publicly available product information; we haven’t tested these tools side by side.

1. Streamforge

Best for: publishers and studios selecting gaming creators with audience evidence and managing launch outreach, budgets, deliverables and reporting.

Streamforge demo campaign report showing a campaign overview and content performance metrics
Streamforge’s demo campaign report shows the reporting view used to follow creator content during a launch.

Streamforge was built in gaming and has worked with publishers, studios and creators since 2018. Every creator has a full game history: every title they have streamed, with airtime, hours watched, average viewers, and a sponsored-versus-organic breakdown per game. Twitch is covered natively, with average and peak viewers, concurrent viewers, airtime, hours watched, chatters and messages per hour, per creator and per game.

That history depends on how games are identified. Streamforge uses IGDB as its source of truth for game and genre metadata, then applies proprietary techniques to connect that taxonomy to creators and content across social platforms, so a creator’s relevance to a title comes from what they published. Discovery runs on 48M creators, and audience analysis is supported across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and X.

Streamforge’s Audience tab puts demographics beside authenticity signals, so a reviewer can inspect the evidence behind the rating.

Once the shortlist is ready, Streamforge Workflow handles campaign operations: email outreach, custom stages, assigned owners, creator rates and budgets, deliverables with due dates, bulk edits and tracking links. Reusable templates carry the campaign setup into the next launch.

Streamforge’s demo campaign groups creators by stage, with deliverables and reporting in the same campaign.

During the launch, tracking rules on your hashtags, your mentions and the game itself roll every video and stream the beat earns into one report. For publishers working at portfolio level, Streamforge Intelligence adds share of voice by genre over time and competing titles’ creator activations, paid and organic. Brand Watcher compares sponsored activity and content value across brands over the same window.

Key features

  • IGDB-based game metadata connects games, creators and content.
  • Audience analysis is supported across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and X.
  • Campaign operations cover outreach, custom stages, assigned owners, budgets and deliverables.
  • Tracking links and performance reports support launch measurement.

Worth noting: Creator intelligence complements key distribution and store attribution. Include those separate workflows in your launch plan if the brief requires them.

Pricing and access: Talk to Streamforge about the workflow, platforms and data access you need.

2. Hatchet

Best for: analytics across the long tail of streaming platforms.

Hatchet creator discovery dashboard with streaming filters and a creator table

Hatchet is the new name of Stream Hatchet, which describes itself as creator marketing analytics built for gaming. Its site lists Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X, and its relaunch announcement adds the newer streaming platforms Kick, Chzzk and SOOP. It addresses brands, game publishers, agencies and esports organizations.

Key features

  • Creator discovery and stream analytics support gaming campaigns.
  • Its platform coverage includes newer streaming services such as Kick, Chzzk and SOOP.

Worth noting: Verify platform coverage at the metric level. Listing a network does not establish that every discovery filter or historical metric is available there.

Pricing and access: Contact Hatchet with your platform coverage and analytics requirements.

3. CreatorIQ

Best for: enterprise publishers that need gaming inside a governed global program.

CreatorIQ Discovery interface showing creator search results
CreatorIQ’s Discovery interface. Source: CreatorIQ.

CreatorIQ is a broad enterprise platform, and its gaming coverage includes Twitch, game search and stream metrics. Its operations features include approvals, contracts, payments, and multi-brand governance with audit trails.

Key features

  • Content-led discovery and brand-safety signals support selection.
  • Approvals, payments and multi-brand governance support a global operation.

Worth noting: Ask for your real approval chain, brand structure and export requirements in the demo. Enterprise governance only helps if it matches your organization.

Pricing and access: Request CreatorIQ pricing, including the brands, teams and integrations in scope.

4. HypeAuditor

Best for: teams evaluating HypeAuditor reports for a shortlist that includes streamers.

HypeAuditor’s discovery covers Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and Twitch, according to its site, and its reports include audience-quality and fraud indicators. Compare the evidence for the same creators with Streamforge’s audience analysis and comment-level authenticity signals.

Key features

  • Audience demographics and authenticity signals support creator vetting.
  • Discovery filters and lookalikes help narrow a candidate pool.

Worth noting: Ask to see the evidence behind an audience-quality score and the report allowance on your plan. A score should support a review, not replace it.

Pricing and access: Request HypeAuditor pricing for your discovery, report and campaign requirements.

5. Upfluence

Best for: merchandise and hardware brands selling to gamers through commerce programs.

Upfluence Search app with creator results and an open audience filter

Upfluence says it indexes creators across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Pinterest and X. It is commerce-first, built around gifting, promo codes, affiliate sales, and Shopify and Amazon workflows, which suits peripherals and merchandise better than a game key.

Key features

  • Customer-base matching identifies creators who already buy from the brand.
  • Shopify and Amazon workflows connect gifting, promo codes and affiliate tracking.

Worth noting: Its commerce workflows are most relevant when you can connect a store. For a non-commerce campaign, demo the reporting you will actually use.

Pricing and access: Request an Upfluence plan with the commerce integrations and campaign scope you need.

6. Keymailer

Best for: indies and publishers that want creators to come to them for keys.

Keymailer is a portal where creators request game keys. Publishers manage it through Partnier, which the company describes as the dedicated publisher login for Keymailer and its other services, covering organic creator content, sponsored content, press reviews and creator programs. It addresses publishers, studios, agencies, indies and solo developers, publishes its plan prices, and is free for creators.

Key features

  • Creators request games through the Keymailer portal.
  • Publishers review requests and manage distribution through Partnier.

Worth noting: A key request signals interest, not a promise of coverage. Review creator fit and the campaign’s coverage expectations before allocating keys.

Pricing and access: Review Keymailer through Partnier for publisher packages and campaign options.

7. Lurkit

Best for: studios that want key campaigns and paid campaigns in one place.

Lurkit Results and Reporting dashboard with creator participation and performance metrics
Lurkit’s Results & Reporting dashboard, from its reporting guide. Source: Lurkit.

Lurkit calls itself an all-in-one creator platform for games growth. It distributes keys to targeted creators, runs both organic and paid campaigns, and says it tracks creators across Twitch, YouTube, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. Plans are named for indies, studios and publishers.

Key features

  • Targeted key distribution supports organic creator campaigns.
  • Paid campaigns and reporting sit alongside key campaigns.

Worth noting: Separate organic key distribution from paid deliverables when comparing results and pricing. They answer different launch objectives.

Pricing and access: Compare Lurkit plans and confirm which organic and paid campaign tools are included.

8. Terminals

Best for: PR-led launches that treat press and creators as one list.

Terminals is a key-request portal for verified media, streamers and YouTube creators, aimed at game developers and publishers. It lists media alongside streamers, which suits launches where PR and creator outreach are run as one effort.

Key features

  • A key-request portal serves verified media and creators.
  • Launch packages bring press and creator outreach into the same workflow.

Worth noting: Decide who owns press and creator follow-up before launching. The screenshot is a 2022 demo, so confirm the current package and reporting.

Pricing and access: Contact Terminals for current launch-package scope and pricing.

9. StreamElements

Best for: performance advertisers buying sponsorships across a large streamer base.

StreamElements sponsorship dashboard with campaign goals, revenue and setup progress
StreamElements’ sponsorship campaign dashboard, from its setup guide. Source: StreamElements.

StreamElements makes streamer tools and runs a paid sponsorship network on top of them. Its brand page is written for performance advertisers and covers creators in gaming and beyond.

Key features

  • A sponsorship network sits alongside its streamer tools.
  • Brand campaigns recruit creators through an existing creator ecosystem.

Worth noting: Ask how participating creators, campaign goals and billable outcomes are defined. A network campaign needs a different brief from a hand-picked roster.

Pricing and access: Contact StreamElements about a brand campaign; creator tool access is a separate consideration.

10. inSTREAMLY

Best for: brand campaigns delivered as on-stream overlays across small and mid-size streamers.

inSTREAMLY streamer dashboard with sponsorship tabs and streaming setup tools

inSTREAMLY automates brand campaigns that appear on stream across many streamers at once, and sells the result as measurable reach. Its brand page names Twitch and YouTube.

Key features

  • Brand messages appear as overlays within participating streams.
  • Campaigns span multiple streamers on Twitch and YouTube.

Worth noting: An overlay is a different placement from a creator discussing your game. Review the creative format and reporting before comparing its reach with a sponsored stream.

Pricing and access: Contact inSTREAMLY with the markets, placements and campaign goals you need.

11. Streamlabs Sponsorships

Best for: US campaigns on Twitch delivered inside Streamlabs Desktop.

Streamlabs, owned by Logitech, offers creators paid brand deals inside its desktop streaming app. At the time of writing its page says campaigns are for Twitch and US only. Lurkit’s campaign marketplace is also available in the Streamlabs App Store.

Key features

  • Creators find sponsorship opportunities inside Streamlabs Desktop.
  • The sponsorship workflow brings campaign setup into the streaming app.

Worth noting: Check current country and platform eligibility. Availability of the Streamlabs app does not guarantee access to a particular sponsorship campaign.

Pricing and access: Review Streamlabs Sponsorships for current participation requirements.

12. Gamesight

Best for: tying creator content and other marketing to sales on PC and console.

Gamesight is marketing measurement and attribution for PC and console games. Its measurement product names Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, and the company says it tracks creator content through to sales and in-game purchases. Its creator marketing is a managed service with its own tooling rather than self-serve software, with discovery across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and X.

Key features

  • Measurement covers marketing for PC and console games.
  • Creator marketing is offered as a managed service with supporting tooling.

Worth noting: Scope attribution setup and the managed creator service separately. Agree on the sales event and attribution window before the campaign starts.

Pricing and access: Contact Gamesight for measurement and creator-service requirements.

13. Nexus

Best for: live-service games that want a creator-code program.

Its site lists game-side integrations with Unity, Unreal, Steam, PlayFab, Epic Online Services and AccelByte, and it addresses developers and publishers of live-service games on PC, mobile and console.

Key features

  • Creator codes connect player purchases to a support-a-creator program.
  • Game-side integrations support live-service programs across PC, mobile and console.

Worth noting: Plan the game integration and payout rules before recruiting creators. A creator-code program is an ongoing commercial workflow.

Pricing and access: Contact Nexus to scope the game integration and creator program.

SullyGnome is a free Twitch statistics and analysis site. Its about page describes it as a hobby project with data going back to August 2015.

Key features

  • Public Twitch statistics provide channel and game history.
  • Historical trends help check whether a media kit reflects sustained performance.

Worth noting: Public viewing history does not establish audience demographics or purchase intent. Use it as a cross-check when building a shortlist.

Pricing and access: SullyGnome’s public statistics are free to browse.

15. TwitchTracker

Best for: quick rankings of channels, games and streams.

Pricing and access: TwitchTracker’s public statistics are free to browse.

How the pieces fit

Start with Streamforge to evaluate creators against your game and target audience, then run outreach, budgets, deliverables and reporting in the same platform. Keep the reasons for each selection with the shortlist: relevant content, audience fit and the creator’s role in the launch. If your plan includes key requests or store sales measurement, choose supporting tools for those specific jobs and define measurement before the first stream.

Then run the test every vendor should be able to pass: give them the last game you launched and ask which creators they would have recommended, and why. The article on finding gaming influencers for a game launch covers how to judge the answer, and for general-purpose platforms beyond gaming see the 14 best influencer marketing platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Which platform should I use to build a gaming creator shortlist?

We recommend Streamforge for publishers and studios building a shortlist around a specific game and player audience. Its game and genre context connects creators to relevant content, and audience analysis helps evaluate who they reach. For each candidate, record the content that supports the match, the audience evidence and the intended launch role so your team can review the reasoning. Streamforge also manages the resulting campaign through outreach, custom stages, budgets, deliverables, tracking links and reports.

Do I need both a discovery tool and a key-distribution platform?

Often they serve different needs. Discovery helps identify and evaluate creators; a key portal manages requests from creators interested in the game. Start with the launch workflow and add a second tool only when that gap exists.

Can free Twitch statistics replace a gaming influencer platform?

They can help verify viewing trends, game history and rankings. They do not establish audience fit, explain sponsorship history or run an entire creator campaign. Use them to cross-check a shortlist.
